President replaces the N word
Funny, the only people I hear using the n-word anymore are black people.
But all of the black people I know are educated, literate, and don't call each other n*gg*r, president, or any other street slang. In other words, they were done feeling sorry for themselves long before Obama became President.

funny spoof almost as good as the onion spoofs
Here is my little social experiement on why politically correct statements dont work:
"Presidents will never amount to anything because all they care about is sex, drugs and violence"
This phrase is made up to prove a point and is patently untrue. I am trying to make a point. What did the phrase above say to you?
Does using the word president instead of n****r make the statement any less racist and biggoted?
See, changing word for political correctness solves nothing. This is true for anyword that people have tried to change....retarded, midget, fag...whatever take any word you use for example. All you are doing is replacing the word not the meaning. If you do not like a word and it connotation, you have stop you using it completely and abolish the context or nothing will ever change.
This is demonstrated stronger by using a word with no slang spin off words like "basket". If people say Basket is bad word and we should change it to bleeblop, and people start calling a basket a bleeblop then bleeblop is going to mean basket in peoples minds and eventually people are going to have a problem with bleeblop too.
sorry to type all verbose in here but the thread brings up this good point and I wanted to point it out

Primogen, you are so correct. I work in he department of mental retardation which is changing its name to department of developmental services and mental retardation will be referred to as intelectual disability. Now the law of unintended consequences may come into play as MR become ID. It's not a big stretch to see ID becoming IDiot in the vernacular.
