yeah i would try and find the person's family or even talk to the lawyer to see if he/she know

 

If you can't find the family, some historical society will want them. My local library had a big exhibition of old pics last year, and it was very interesting.

don't move those pictures. doing so will upset the ghosts in your attic, and i'm sure you wouldn't want that to happen...

 

I have had this as an issue with many rental houses. There will be a lifetimes of memories in the basements that the family leaves behind.

I think most of the time people take what they want and leave what they don't so I doubt anyone in the family wants that stuff, but definately worth a shot at finding them.

I agree with everyone else and donate them somewhere. My parents have pictures on "tins" they are so old.... i guess that is what they printed them on way way back?
