You're right, but I'm not THAT broke. That's one of the advantages of consulting.

Well as things will go, so did the Z06! Alias, it was not meant to be. But all is not lost! My wife and I went to look at the Z06 tonight togather and talk to the salesman. She looked over the car carefully and we got to drive it for a half an hour. Needless to say my wife was not impressed as she though she would be. She said, "It's a little mushy compared to the S? She also said that she wasn't to impressed with the interior! Here's the really funny part. On the way home we passed by the Dodge dealer. In the lot was a new RED Viper. She told me to stop and take a look. So I basically said, what the hell! I was licensed and the motor was warm. She told me to wait around and see if the owner would come back. We hung around for about 10 minutes and a young man about 34 came out and asked if he could help. I told him my wife was looking at the Viper and wanted to know who it belonged to. The young fellow introduced himself and said that it belonged to him. His father owned the dealership and he was the VP. My wife got a funny gleam in her eye and all of a sudden asked him if she could drive it. What was really weird was he said nothing but took the keys out of his pocket and threw them at me. The only thing he said was have fun and I'll see you in an hour. Boy was I confused and shocked!
To make a long story short my wife didn't drive it but she says to me, "wouldn't you rather have one of these than something that anyone can buy. What the heck do you say to something like this ! I told her, to be perfectly honest, yes! She told me as soon as our son finishes college this year we can buy one. My jaw hit the floor board!! All I could think of is, "HOLY SH#T, HOLY SH%T! I had to ask for a second time and she said, what the heck did I say, don't you hear well! I drove the Viper for 45 minutes, filled it up and had it washed! I was impressed! So, at the end of this college year I'm gonna be a new Viper owner! DAMN I don't know what to say!

What about a 2002 z06 for 20% off with 0% financing. About 40k w/o taxes. My coworker worked for GM and has a discount, but I just payed off the S. I just don't know...
