Prince declares the internet is over
Prince is REALLY strange and off his rocker but easily THE most talented person I have ever seen perform live.
He can be goofy all he wants as long as he wants to tour every once in a while so I can shoot him a couple hundred bucks for good seats. And hopefully he plays his old stuff over the new stuff, because the new stuff aint that good.
His old stuff is great, especially REAL old school, and he plays covers like a mofo. I saw him do a cover of the Cars "Let's Go" that had 20,000 people jumping up and down going nuts.
Some times the talented ones are totally screwed in the head, see Micheal Jackson.
And that Kevin Smith clip was great, now to find part II.

The rest of the show is called "An Evening with Kevin Smith" Great stories
Prince played at my girlfriend's uncle's wedding a few years ago. I think he charged something like $200k for a few songs? That purchased the ability for the bride to grope him on stage. Apparently he was actually a pretty good sport, though he was a little odd.
My GF says his entourage does a good job of making sure people who will interact with him are prepared to do so on his terms, so nobody is surprised when he does anything peculiar.
