Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II. This was in 86 BTW.

The story of how I got the Rolls goes on a bit, but a friend inherited it but couldn't afford new tyres. So I got him some at cost and he lent it to me for the night. My dates parents said "Marry him!". little did they know my car was a 1970 Toyota Corolla.

You guys are too much!

Here's my $.02. It was 1976 and I took my restored 1962 Chrysler Imperial Crown - what a car! I could fit four comfortably across the front seat and two vertically in the back, no problem. I would never have taken a two seater on a date, especially a prom - couldn't afford the hotel then.

Yes, those were the days.

I didn't have carnal knowledge of my prom date. Am I the only one? Remember, though, 1965 was before the age of enlightenment (also before STDs were so rampant).
