His lyrics from Get My Gun:

My whole outfit count clips
Get you're house lit the **** up
You're spouse shit, and you're mouse clip
Betta' watch miscountliss, slugs I'ma send
Watch you hollow when the hollow tips dove threw you're skin
I'm in love with the sin, tell Bugz I'ma see him
When I cock back might put the door on you're friends
Make a run, gotta him, bust a slug on his chin
Ain't going nowhere like the drugs outta Kim.
I'm a psycho icon, a mightful might bomb
Get a eye full of lead when I slight you're lights out
With a street cleaner, wipe you're life out
Bullets know at you're ears, like a Tyson fight bout
**** the night clout, guns, clips...(I'M GONNA GET MY...)
**** that run bitch!
Hit the streets talks, chumps don't know me
Aint no problem ? by a homie

Sounds like a fine upstanding individual.
Dont be so quick to judge, if you listend to either d12 album you would know that 99% of what they say is humor. They even joke about people taking them seriously.

A culture of violence breeds violence, who would have thought?

I read today that the evidence shows he shot first.

I guess when Biggie said "You're nobody until somebody kills you" is true once again. Yeah, Proof shot first, the other guy who he shot is in critical condition, and he apparently wasn't the guy feuding with Proof. Those after-hours clubs on 8 Mile are some scary shit.

You see, the problem with some people (usually older) and rap arises when you listen to the words. You aren't supposed to.
Now that is some funny stuff. I'm 34 years old. Does that qualify me as "older"? I started listening to rap in about '83 or so and it was ALL about lyrics. A simple bass line and a clap track to accompany strong lyrics. Rap has reached such lows of late that we are no longer supposed to listen to the lyrics?
