Default PS2: GT3 Super License Question. . .

Just for the record, I've completed 60% of GT3 (all Amatuer, Beginner, and Rally Races). . . So, I'm not new at this. . .

I've started to attempt the Super License and I can't seem to come close to the required times. For example: In the tests with the Miata and the Toyota I keep the pedal mashed and still come up way short of the required times for even the Bronze. . . Any hints or is it just a matter of practice. . .

its not about keeping the pedal mashed all the time, it's all about taking the proper lines at the right speed. the slower cars make taking the right line much easier, the point with the miata is to try to keep your speed up comming out of the turns. for hits on what the correct lines are make sure you watch the demos multiple times. It's not that hard to get just took me several times

The demos help a lot. They show you your line and then the "proper" line.

sorry but i cheated using the gameshark. i guess i just dont have patience but i do have all licenses (sp?) and a 10 trillion dollar budget for my cars. but i guess someday i will go back and finish up the game properly. but i do admit that one lap finish the race cheat comes in handly especially when you want to finish some of those endurance races and such.

Thanks for the help. . .

I'll get back to GT3 once I get through another couple of levels of Ace Combat 4 (an excellent game for anyone that hasn't played it). . .

My goal is to finish both AC4 and GT3.

Considering I've never completed and PS or PS2 game, this would be a major accomplishment. . .

Get a guide book, practice ... practice ... and practice ... That's all I can say.

i spent a lot of time yelling and throwing things at the game - i've come to find out that that's the most effective way to get licenses. you get them faster if your neighbors think there is domestic violence going on.
