Default PS2 or X-Box?

O.K so what's the final verdict? Bt the end of the week I will purchase one of these systems, any suggestions?

I know PS2 has many more games including GT3. But supposedly XBox has better graphics. Who knows...

i'd have to put my vote for the x-box. granted that ps2 has more games, the x-box offers a more advanced processor and is able to produce better graphics. on a side note, you can burn your favorite cd songs to the hard drive and listen to them on certain games. i think project gotham racing is one of them.

I saw my brothers PS2 yesterday and was impressed with GTA3 but I am still going to wait for the x-box to come to the U.K.

I find myself in the same dilemna. I'm gonna wait it out a couple of weeks before making a decision. I definitely like the superior technology of the Xbox but the number of games currently available for it is disappointing when compared to PS2. If the rumours are true and the PS2 comes down in price soon to $199, I will definitely go with the PS2. Patience is indeed a virtue.

xbox... the games are coming... the graphics is smoother... less latency time because it has a HD. The graphics are also higher res - try it on a HDTV...

I got both for X-mas!!!

I think I'm going with the PS2 because of GT3 and the broader range of games.

It's all about the X-box.

Because the X-box is "basicly" a PC it not allows game makers to basicly make ONE game that will run on both a PC and the X-Box (very minor code tweaks, obviously the xbox will be higher res). That will be VERY appealing to a lot of game makers.

There will be LOTS of games for the xbox in the next couple months.
