PS2 or XBox?!?

As an owner of both I'd say buy the XBox. In fact, I bought more than one XBox for the house. The PS2 is worthless except for a handfull of games like GT3.
You can pick up XBox's with DVD controllers and two games for less than a PS2 at Costco/Priceclub. Go for it!

i have both.... but i play the xbox more... i have played all the levels of halo in every degree of difficulity... it is great...

I have both and ps2 has some awesome games but so does xbox. But if have get one get xbox because all the good sport game come on both systems plus any really good games on ps2 can be had on pc, also xbox has better graphics.

Without a DOUBT XBOX. The Xbox is just a newer/better system. There are almost 200 games slated to be released for xbox within the next 3 months, all of them with advanced graphics engines like the one in splinter cell.

this is weird about most of you suggesting X-box. PS2 out sells X-box almost 4-1. Not to mention, there are more problems with X-box than there is with PS2. I do agree that X-box would slightly be better for the price with the inception of X-box Live.

= No need to buy remote control to play DVD's
= Dual Shock Controller
XBOX is also good, you will be bohappy with th, and it is newer hardware, but THE CONTROLLER IS SO DAMMNN BIG!! It's too much plastic! other than that, they have a good selection of games as well, so it's a tossup...
and GAMECUBE: Why are so many knocking the Cube? Their first party games alone are worth buying the system for, plus its cheaper, but it wont give you the frills and luxuries like online play/DVD.... but Star Fox Adventures, METROID, Zelda (eventually), Mario Sunshine, and all the next resident evil games! is not too shabby...
