I have both PS2 and XBOX. I got the XBOX for HALO and MotoGP 2. PS2 for Final Fantasy and GranTurismo of course. I'm getting in the mood to buy some different games like an NBA game and Fight Night.

So I'm wondering since their available on both systems, is ther going to be a noticable diffence from one to the other? I'm assuming since the XBOX is more powerful that maybe the games will be better? Am I correct here?

Also any suggestions on an NBA basketball game?

In the past, I've found the PS2 games to be more responsive and I definitely prefer the PS2 controllers. Maybe you should rent an EA game on each system and do a writeup for us It probably depends on the game too. For Tiger Woods I would go Xbox and for a really fast game like basketball or Madden I would probably lean towards PS2.

they have reviews of most games, and always make compliants about "ports" and games on more than one console, they will tell you who has the best controller setup, game play, and if there are anyother differences.

 

I wouldn't give up my XBOX for anything. I prefer it over my PS2, but I keep the PS2 for GT. I got Fight Night on the XBOX and the game is great! I'd give it a 9/10.
