They did the same thing when the X-Box 360 was released. Publicity stunt for a website I believe. Reminds me of the "Smash a Viper" website where they got a bunch of hot chicks to smash a new Viper with sledgehammers.

theyre ebaying the second unit to make up for the loss of the first unit. they did it cuz they wanted to piss off those people who were waiting in line. especially the ones who didnt get one. better yet, the person who was next in line to get one, but was told they had just sold out. hahaha
