PSP can burn directly to UMD with USB!
I've been having a ball with my Sony PSP over the past week. Those who have one are probably saying the same thing. Games are gorgeous
. Movies, pure eye-candy
. Playing music back is a sweet plus
. And I'm looking forward to a USB camera to come along all to soon
.
I was screwin' around this evening with the USB, hooking it back to my PC. Thought, what the hell,
wonder if I can rip a movie back down to my Spiderman2 UMD disc
. More than likely, I figured the movie to already be one-time record from the manufacturer. But, hey, I was bored
. So I used DVD-Shrink to pull Ronin down on my HD, and then tried to push it to the PSP's UMD drive once I'd connected it through the USB port. Let the process start...no complaints from the software...UMD drive was spinning (
HOLY MOTHER! Its a burner too!!!). Took awhile, stepped off and made dinner. But when I came back, the software indicated finished.
Then a minute later I'm scrolling through Ronin's scene selections on the PSP and it played fabu!
. Oh lord, what a beautiful piece of equipment
I
