Using a download option in a game called wipeout you can "hack" it so that it becomes a web browser.

On boot up, before you get past the boot up screen, you must press....

up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start

Heh, why was that combination the most used cheat combination? Any good explanation for that?

It was a cheat code used in Konami games. It just so happened that during that time Konami made alot of very good games

You're right.. Now that I think about it, they were all Konami games. TMNT, Contra, super R-Type.. etc..

Wow, not so informative there. This hack almost made me want one, but the hacks are still too crude for me. Here's more info:

Mirror of original slashdotted site from the original author:
http://www.fumanchuu.com/pspdev/

Better hack through a home machine as proxy server:
http://www.wombatmobile.com/blojsom/blog/w...eb_browser.html

Better hack (#2) using a guy's web server for all the redirects. Essentially, the PSP is only allowed to display Sony's site. You can easily trick it into thinking any data comes from Sony's URL:
http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/jterlesk/psp/

Edit: and here's a better picture of a real website on the PSP.
