I've only heard of consuming 1g of protein per lb. of bodyweight. 2x seems excessive to me.

to gain weight you need protien and a muscle building workout. in your workout you should be doing 5 sets of 3 with as much weight as you can possibly do. ps you should need help getting the 3rd one up. and for the diet. keep taking the shakes AFTER you workout never before or it wont go to your muscles. also eat 4 large meals a day and if you continue to workout you will not gain it as fat only muscle . hope this helps

This is why you go to specific forum where most people there know wtf they are talking about. Then again those people probably don't know shit either.

Too much info is given regarding nutrition when we have no idea how this guy works out.

All the protein in the world isn't going to help if he works out like a sissy at the gym.

Mix it up. There's so many different ways to work out and shock your muscles. You can add another set of 10 to your work out. Or you can do a pyramid where you start off with a weight you can do 10x, then heavier 8x, then heavier 6x. Or you can do 5 sets with 5 reps each with a heavy weight.

It all depends on your goal. Do you want to gain mass? Lose weight?

Just make sure you switch up your routine every few weeks or so to keep your body guessing.
