Question about G-unit
I'm getting too old.
A young friend of mine wants a pair of Rbk G-Unit for a gift. I don't want to ask him too many questions b/c I don't want to let him know that he'll be getting the shoes.
I checked the Rebok site and I think they're quite ugly. But I have a question: What is the "G-unit"?

Rapper 50 Cent and his posse refer to themselves as, "G-Unit," which is short for "gorilla," I believe. I didn't realize Reebok made a shoe for them. . . not that I was in the market.

They have several shoes on the G-Unit brand. The GXT trainer shoe, and a couple of versions of the G6. G-Unit is a rap group that consists of: 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, and The Game. They are on the Shady/Aftermath label.
Those rappers are a funny bunch.
