Default Question about Paypal and Disputes

Ok so heres the story. I recently sold my xbox 360 on ebay. Ive had the xbox for only 3 months and had only played it maybe 20 times max in that period. Never abused, or took the xbox apart. It was purchased brand new. Now the seller has said that the xbox doesnt work and filed a claim with paypal.

My question is what should i do? Im afraid that if i refund his money that hes just going to send me an old broken xbox that isnt even mind and just keep my working one. I tried to write a letter to paypal disputing it but they have already put a hold on $400 which was the price of the xbox.

Any suggestions?

Paypal deals with disputes better than anyone I've dealt with. Your in good hands with them. Hopefully you know what the serial number of your system is so that you know that buyer doesn't send you his broken one.

Have you tryed contacting the buyer?probably just one of the problems that plague many 360's and he should be covered by microsofts warranty and should go threugh the process of getting it fixed by them.

I definitely would have copied down the license/serial number of the box you bought. That way you can confirm it's the one you sent him.

You might have it on some of your documentation or a receipt or something.
