Percocet has 2 components. The narcotic one-potential addiction, constipation, and the Tylenol one-risks to liver especially if you are taking more than the perscribed dose of percs.

The best way to use percocet is little as possible to reduce pain and then not at all afterwards.

 

My roommate had a secret percocet addiction that eventually lead to taking cancer patient perscribed liquid percocet. He didn't know what he was doing and in a 48 hour period, took 20 ml of liquid percocet at 20mg/ml which equals 400 mg of percocet in a 48 hour period. That is the equivalent of taking 40 perc 10s or 80 perc 5s in 2 days. Needless to say, he overdosed, quit breathing. Myself and our other roommate have to give CPR, very scary. Not saying that happens to everyone but I don't know a single person that took percocet on a regular basis that didn't get addicted. Watch out.
