I think that lady's crazy. It's not like you had 1 person holding a spot for 10 people. Then maybe that's out of line.

But heck, I think what you did was fine.

That would have ruined my day, not much you can do now but suck it all in and feel sorry for her kids being brought up with someone like that.

If i was in line behind or in front any of you, i would have spoken up and tell that lady its fine what you are doing and to get over it.

As others said it seems like a race thing. Some cultures are okay with that, others are not. You guys keeps forgetting some WASP's aren't happy with all the races and cultures doing things their way. I have little tolerance for lines and if anybody tries that I go ape shlt. Helps that I'm a big boy too. Even now as a old fart family man can't tell how many times I have been thrown out of places for not putting up with shlt like that. This weekend took my little boys to see a movie and the Asian family behind us would not shut up, I got up screamed at the top of my lungs to tell them to STFU. The manager some nerdy wuss didn't want trouble and let my boys finish watching the movie from the projection room.

you should have told her the others were not going on the ride, but was just there to watch. maybe this would have shut her up, if it didn't, she really is a BioTch!!

Having elderly people cut in line is often the worst since they tend to be slow, which makes it even more annoying. I'm talking about bank lines, restaurant lines, etc, etc. Outdoors, in a fun park or something, it's no big deal - as others have said, them being old means that standing in lines doesn't make much sense, so it's less of an issue, especially if I realize they're not riding (and most elderly people don't).

 

Tell the lady to F' off. It's a different story if you were a single person on line holding for a pack of 10 vs. holding for 2 ppl.

I would've picked up on some fault of hers and made her feel like a worthless piece of trash. I don't let ppl like that ruin my day. I just demean them with a smile.
