Default Question for guys: too skinny or a little meat?

I can't stop laughing about how stupid this situation is, but...

I have two close friends who are girls. One is about 5'1 and MAYBE 100lbs after a big meal... she has no curves and has to wear jeans from the kids section. The other is 5'8 and is a 9 in jeans. She has curves, but also a little bit of extra on her stomach.

They argue back and forth everytime I see them. One complains she can't gain weight, the other says she can't lose it. Both think that guys like the other end of the deal better. I say having some curves as a girl is better. Can the guys chime in?

I like some curve, but a size 9 is a little more than I personally am into. I concur however that a little curve is far better than a waif... personally, I prefer thin and athletic with some muscle definition/shape

you're thin friend should try some Paige jeans, in a 25 or 26 I bet they'll fit her perfectly (after they're hemmed)

I don't know how big size 9 is.... but being in the middle I guess would be best.

I'm a size 29 (guys) almost anywhere and I can fit into her jeans perfectly.

Mind you, she's tall and has some muscle. So don't judge harshly.

I don't mind a little meat, but some of these thick girls like to stuff themselves into low cut skinny jeans which causes the chub to squirt out over the top. Then they wear a t-shirt from the kids section which they constantly have to pull down to cover the escaping flab.

The muffin top is NOT hot.

Curves are fine for a short time, skinny wins for long time keepers because they won't turn in to balloons after pushing out a couple of kiddies.

I see it flipped.

If a girl has the right figure and looks good with curves, I'm not worried. If a girl would obviously look awful with 5 extra pounds, what happens when she's 30 and doesn't visit the gym as much?
