I was ripping down the sidewalk on my skateboard, when out of nowhere this guys comes flying up behind me on a Sharper Image Scooter. Now I heard these Sharper Image machines were the real deal. So I plant my foot down and push like hell. I notice that I'm gaining! I can't believe it!! I guess his added weight was no match for my 2 lbs. of right leg thrust.
But alas there was a police officer up aways and in my haste I didn't see him. He pulled me over and luckily just handed me a warning. Pheww! I was really lucky. I certainly learned a lesson though. I will never race my skateboard, were myself or others could be harmed. I'll keep it in the school yard

ya know, this just goes to show the level of irrisponsibility and recklessness of members of this board. even though those skooters have a wheelie bar for advanced tricks, inciting them to race on public sidewalks could cause a serious accident or even cause damage to your skateboard. next time don't be so juvenile!!

I wonder if your warranty will be affected if you install an S/C on your board?

[green]You'll get even better performance with bigger wheels and low profile tires. Does it oversteer or understeer. Oh, and buy a set of extra large shoes for that enhanced grip and torque.[/green]
