Makes me sad, really. Porsche has produced some of the best, sexiest race cars ever. It appears that is over now.

It is sad. They do not really have any commitment to any racing series at this time.
I would love to see then back in F1, but IMHO I do not see how they can compete against big teams with big budget and stay independent. Without FIAT, Ferrari would have never been able to compete at the level they are today.

I wonder if this means we're going to see an M3 with the M5 engine in it (from the factory)? That'd be sweet.
