Default Racing to Save Lives

I have a good friend here that is training for this run. The way it works is that if he doesn't raise the money then he has to pay it by himself. I figure if we could get enough people to donate $1-5 dollars he could easily hit his goal. Thanks again and happy holidays!

Hi all.
I have been training the last few months for a half-marathon in January. My girlfriend and I decided to run this race because her father was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma. It is a form of blood cancer that creates bone lesions and makes patients highly susceptible to infection. Unfortunately, there is no cure yet for this type of cancer and only 30% of patients make it 5 years.

I am running the half-marathon to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which supports myeloma research. I am hoping to raise $2,100 and hope that you and your friends and family can help me in my efforts. I understand that this is a tough time to ask for donations with so many charities in need of support now and the holiday season in full swing, but any donations would be greatly appreciated (And remember, all donations made are tax deductible).

Please visit my website at My Webpage to track my training and fundraising. My girlfriend and I sincerely appreciate your help in the search for a cure.
