Random sounds in the S2k Discovered!
This is a sad day for all S2k owners. You see I was recently experiencing a random buzzing noise from somewhere around my dash area. Many people have experienced similar buzzy sounds from other parts of the car like behind the seats, around the convertable top, and even in the engine bay. Well I decided to diagnose the problem a little deeper and decided to take off my dash to investigate...
Remember when you first learned that Honda managed to coax 240hp out of a 4 cylinder? Remember how much respect and awe you had from them? Well its about to go down the trash. This is the true reason why the s2k makes so much power. I think Honda was desperate to make the s2k do what it does with a small motor and thats why they stooped so low. Its still highly unacceptable though...
Yep thats right, GREMLINS
Here is the one I found under my dash. Poor thing was locked up...

Here are some you may find in the wild. The last one is a pic of one 100 years old. They get quite vicious at that age and I dont think that the little plastic cage mine was in could possibly be held in at that age. This car will be a true danger for anybody 100 years from know. I also must say though that I lost significant power and my motor also changed its look after I took out the gremlin. But I gotta say its a cute little pet. Oh and I included pics of the motor as it is w/o the gremlin, looks familiar...
