Default Recomendatinos for online Bank for a VISA card?

I am 18 and I want to get a Visa card to buy one thing and establish a little credit. I already have a Visa Check card so now I want to get a credit card. Does anyone have any recomendations for online banks where I can get a Visa Credit Card that has interactive online features, where I can manage and monitor everything online?
Thanks,
-Brandonb

I have many accounts, I think way too many, but oh well. You might try www.netbank.com You can have a checking or money market account as well. With them being only an online bank, everything you do is online. You can also mail in deposit checks if you need to. They also have free bill pay and a Visa Check card. Take a look and it might fit the bill.

Thanks.
But do they have actual Visa Credit Cards? I already have a debit/atm/check card, but I am really wanting a real credit card.
Thanks,

I hate being 18 and having no credit! Everyplace I try says they can't offer me a card or something similar to that.
Oh well

You only need a credit card?
Get NextCard.

www.nextcard.com
It's been around for 3 years.
It went public last year...and survived....so it can't be too bad.

But of course....they couldn't give me a card because of lack of credit information! I'm 18! What kind of credit information will I have? This will be my first card.
Thanks,
-Brandon

18 is more than old enough.
They give college students without credit credit cards all the time.
That's how they make money.....issue cards to irresponsible teenagers.
It is very simple to get a credit card....unless the time has changed.
I had 3 credit cards when I turned 18. One of them being American Express......that I applied when I was 17 and they waited till my 18th bday to give it to me. Annual fee was $35 back then.
That, of course, does not include debit cards from my bank.

Yes www.netbank.com offers just a credit card. I just mentioned the other services they offer as well. It doesn't hurt to go to their site and look around. To apply, just click on the apply button on the upper left corner of their home page.
