Recommendation on Washer and Dryer
What washer and dryer are you using?
Would you buy it again?
I want something that is energy efficient. The dryer has to be electric vented dryer because I don't have a gas connection in my laundry room.
Thanks!
Had to replace my washer a few months ago. Spent three days looking at everything I could find and ended up buying an LG. Very happy with it. I plan to replace my dryer with an LG soon also.
We've got the LG TROMM's. I've been very happy with them aside from the washer spinning like a jet engine. Front loaders have a tendency of vibrating the floor if they're not perfectly level and/or the floor is uneven. Mine took some time to level out, however it still shakes the floor pretty good.

They're kinda pricey. We wound up getting a rebate and had a 10% off coupon at Best Buy, but still wound up spending about $1700 on both of them. The washer uses very little water and they're both supposedly very energy efficient.

Just make sure they are level...also set them up so that one door swings out to the left and the other to the right makes transfering a breeze
I've always had great luck with the Kenmore line. I've got their top line (can't remember the model name). I like the fact that Sears really stands behind their products and their service plan is cheap and all encompassing. Plus through PSEG (our gas supplier), we have additional equipment warranties that will replace the unit in the event of any failures.
