A few weeks ago I switched positions within my company. You guys should have seen the online ad they put up to replace me!! I couldn't do half the stuff they listed on the ad. They had some mainframe stuff on there and my company has never even seen a mainframe, much less used one?? In the end they hired a guy just like me

Weird thing is, ALOT of my friends are trying to get new jobs...maybe I should too! Maybe move to Seattle....heheh

DUDE, waking up at 8:30!!! That's WAY too early for me. I'm getting up around 10 every day. The unemployed lifestyle is going to get me in trouble, once I get another client.

As far as the jon descriptions, I don't know anyone that can meet 100% of them. If you're at 80%, that's pretty good, in fact, that's probably god-like.

Good luck in finding a new job. The deal I told you about is still in the works and we might hear something in a few weeks. At least I can talk about the companies now.

 

I had my resume posted on www.monster.com and that is how I got my job, although, that was a year ago. Someone called me, and 2 interviews, and a 2 weeks later I was working. BTW, I too had a low gpa, but I did have good experience. Good luck...
