Love your avatar! Is that Postman Pat?

The Tamiya is nice, but it comes as a 'roof up' model. You can buy a nice inset which lets you cut the roof off and run as a convertible. Makes all the difference in my opinion.

I'm searching for the company that makes the insert now. I think they're called HPI or something.

Here you go:

Excellent, thanks for the feedback guys.
Its actually for the wife, I can't afford a real Stook for her, so this will have to do
I want as good a replica of mine as possible (will make a good ornament if I do a good enough job ...I may be a little sad but I'm happy )
The larger scale is also a bonus.

Auss2000, the avatar is an American policeman from a cool animated gif site I found through Google.

I have the tamiya chassis with an HPI body.
I think it looks pretty cool.

There was a picture of a black HPI, that I think even fooled a couple people into thinking it was real.
Ya, I was shocked too

If it's just for an ornament the RC may not be the best bet. It lacks some detail, such as correct wheels, windscreen wipers etc. It's aim is performance not looks.

I have a Tamiya model kit in 1/24, and the AutoArt in 1/18. Both are extremely detailed. The Maisto is bigger but not as nicely detailed, but still a better bet than the Tamiya RC,
