Another addition:
A retrosexual knows how to cook using a fork, a knife, and a fire. Metal grills and pots can be used for ease of cooking, particularly smaller food items such as beans or potatos.

Yeah, you know, its funny. If you know how to dress yourself or take care of things like personal hygiene, someone will call you a "metro-sexual". Why??? Why even have a label for it?? Shouldn't anyone (man, woman, etc.) know how to dress themselves anyway and take care of themselves anyway?? These are things you SHOULD know how to do. Doing them shouldn't be the exception (and hence, given a label), rather, NOT doing them should be given a lable (i.e., slob).

 

to answer you question...personal hygiene should consists of taking showers........not using apricot-lotion-conditioning-vitamin-enriched soap...

 

I think that's the point. Some Irish Spring soap and Suave shampoo do it for me.

I agree that a guy needs to be presentable when he needs to, such as work or a date, but guy make-up and the like are way over the edge.
