rewarding work
people say do what you like and turn it into your profession. i find it hard to think of something to do constantly that would be fun enough to not consider it work.
please name some that you think.

My job is completely UNREWARDING!!!!! I get paid pretty decent to mostly not work too hard....but.....
at some point I would like to retire so to speak and take a job that made me smile, helped other people, etc...... not sure what it is, but being a bean counter sure as hell ain't it.

My wife and I decided that people in their 20s never seem to win the lottery. I thinks it's because they believe they still have a shot to be rich on their own. So I'm going to play those odds and start playing. I think it's a guaranteed strategy

Then I'll do something I enjoy.
I was a music teacher for 6 years. Incredibly rewarding when I got to work with students and really get down to teaching.
The trick was actually being able to teach. . . but there's plenty of discussion on that in the Politics Forum.

Being a race car driver would be a hell of a job.
Much like my former career, the actual "job" is rewarding, but getting the money. . . well. . . ahhh. . . that's the sticky wicket.
I own and run an environmental services firm. I thoroughly enjoy what I do. I get paid to solve problems, I'm always learning something new, I spend a lot of time outdoors, I get to play in the dirt with big toys (drill rigs, mobile labs, excavators, etc.), and I'm doing something positive for God's green earth. My job is very rewarding.
