Default riddle: jelly beans...

PLEASE DO NOT LOOK UP THE ANSWERS ON THE INTERNET AND POST THEM HERE. If you want to look up the answers that's fine. The answers are out there, they are not that hard to find. Some people like to try and solve the riddle before giving up and looking up the answers. This is for those people. Enjoy...

you have three jars that are all mislabeled. one contains peanut butter jelly beans, another grape jelly jelly beans, and the third has a mix of both (not necessarily a 50/50 mix, could be a 1/99 mix or a 399/22 mix). how many jelly beans would you have to pull out, and out of which jars, to find out how to fix the labels on the jars?

Do you have to pull out all the jelly beans in advance? Or can you pull them out in a certain sequence?

Is the answer and fixed number (e.g., 5, 6 etc) or is it like the maximum number of jelly beans you'd need?

We're looking for the minimum number of jelly beans you would need to take out and which jars you would need to take them out of. For example: You would need to take 3 jelly beans out of the jars labelled PB and Mixed, which would tell you.....(this is not the correct answer)
