Good point, but by then it'll be commonplace and people will take it for granted.
They may take it for granted, but that doesn't mean it won't change the way they think. It's kind of like how a lot of kids like myself who were born in the late 80s/early 90s and grew up in racially diverse areas take the decline of racism around us for granted. That doesn't change the fact that the smaller and smaller amounts or prejudice in successive generations is a good thing.

All of the people who go into space talk about how humbling and unifying it is. I really hope it works like that for everyone.

What a strange piece of equipment..

The suits they are wearing look like the same ones as the suits in the SR-71 thread.

SpaceShipTwo is supposed to go 110 km, or 68.35 miles, so yes.

I spent some time in your town: basic training at Lackland AFB and flight school at Brooks AFB.
I hear the training at Lackland is pretty intense. I'm pretty sure alot has changed in SA since then

i know i heard it was 60,000 ft which divided by 5280 ft(1 miles) it comes to 11.36 miles up, 3 times normal aircraft crusing altitude, just nuts
