My condolences to you and your family also Alex.
My brother in law did the same thing almost three years ago when he was told that he might have cancer. He didn't.
Believe me, it's normal to feel both sad and angry. I can't say anything to make this any easier but many of us will be thinking about you and your family.

Condolence to the OP's! Coincidence that my uncle is also having cancer. He's undergoing chemo treatments; most days, he just cries like a baby. He's been a private practitioner (M.D.) and real estate investor for almost 40 years; he'd be leaving behind close to $60M (he admitted to my mom). Moral of the story: in death, you can't take money with you. Enjoy it while you last.

WTH? Maybe he just wanted to die, because no rational person would kill him/herself over an UNCONFIRMED cancer (and there are benign cancers as well), which he didn't even have.

Thanks to everyone for their kind words, and support.
As odd as it sounds, it's kinda nice to know other people have gone through the same thing. Sorry if that offends anyone. Don't mean to sound rude.
Thanks again everyone, and hope you all had a good holiday season.
Ps: thanks for your nice pm, George
