road rage story hmm...

the only one i have is coming home from a friend's house real late at night; some guy came bombing down the free way in his mercury marquis and braked really hard behind me and starting flashing his brights and riding my ass and... mind you i was doing 76 which i thought was plenty fast enough....

of course i found this odd since i was not in the left lane( but, moved further right anyway) and he sped passed me just to be stuck behind some SUV. and i passed him ( 72 this time) being in the most right hand lane.

This pissed him off and so he jerked his boat on wheels and all 3800 lbs of body roll and ebay HID's behind me once again. so i continue to slow down to coast (65) and merged onto the highway changeover from 610 to 45 south.

so once there was an opportunity to get past me he took the shoulder and sped past me and gave me the finger out the window. so he continue to bomb down the freeway in horse cart suspension. and then his blue marquis vanish into the night....

well exactly 5 mins later I slowed down to the speed limit (65) i saw two cop cruisers pull over the same guy and was giving him a sobriety test... I felt like god or karma or whatever rewarded me on that day.

That was some excellent Karma right there. Glad you had the chance to witness it.

Your problem is geography. Georgia is known for a lot of things but a healthy gene pool is not one of them. Combine some redneck hillbilly who probably barely made it out of high school with a pickup truck, a handgun, and some Budweiser along with regrets over repeated poor life choices and you get a disaster waiting to happen. That guy probably doesn't feel a lot of control in his life. Hence the big gun and the big truck to make him feel like a big man. Bubba will no doubt assert his manhood at the trailer park where the mother of his two children lives every Saturday night. One night, Jolene will get tired of the beatings and when Bubba passes out after his 4th six pack, she will take the handgun from his truck and that'll be "the night that the lights went out in Georgia".
excellent, a Confederacy of dunces

Road rage is a relatively serious act: It may be seen as an endangerment of public safety . It is, however, not always possible to judge intent by external observation, so "road ragers" who are stopped by police may be charged with other offenses such as careless or reckless driving.

if you were driving exactly the speedlimit on a backcountry road with 0 traffic, I'd expect the drivers behind you to get pissed. in my experience in that part of the country, 45 means 60 and 55 means 70.

not defending his douchbaggery after the fact and the gun thing is just ... you are definitely in the south

in florida Every time you go 2 mile over (not exaggeration) on back roads, a state trooper will stop you withing 10 miles.

They don't play here.
