Road trip site seeing ideas?
In Sept of next year my girl and I are planning a road trip in the S from Miami to NYC to visit the family. Any one have any good ideas for quick site seeing stops along the way?
I was going to go up I-95 but I don't mind veering off just a little bit.

Well there is always a stop on St. Simon's Island and Savannah. Both have historic areas and are very nice places to visit. Really, all along the east coast are nice historic areas, as well as beautiful scenery; Charleston, The Outer Banks, DC...
Warning: St. Simon's can be expensive nowadays, but if the weather is nice it's worth it.

Charleston, The Outer Banks, DC all good suggestions. Charleston is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the country. I'm always glad to be single when I visit though, if ya know what I mean *wink*. I've spend some time off the coast of Georgia too.. Jekyll Island, St. Simon, both nice to visit.
I can't think of anything to do on 95 north of DC.. I've driven it hundreds of times.. but you go through Delaware and NJ.. seriously, you be best off driving through there as fast as possible.
