Default Robin sightings 2004

The sighting of the Robin is always a sure sign spring is not far off. Post here when you 1st see a robin this year, that way us northen enthusiasts will be able to tell how close spring is to our areas. I don't expect to see any here untill at least St. Patty's day!

They are known to winter over in some areas of the snow bound north. I did see about a dozen last week, by Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Seldom see Robins in this part of Texas. Our normal spring bird is the Grackle (a true POS bird as it is dirty and noisy) as it makes its way north. Now seeing lots of Cardinals, Woodpeckers, and Finches.
