I am going to try out the roommate deal again. She is 23, finishing up in college and works as a waitress. She is not "psycho" as the other roommate I had for 2 days...lol....

Anyway, anyone here with roommates, any tips as far as making this go smoother? She already put down her deposit (1 month rent) and paying her 1st month rent when she moves in 3 weeks.

I decided to get a roommate because the house is too freaking huge for one person plus this will help me pay for the bigger turbos and the monster TT engine I am planning to build.

I share a house with two other room mates but have had alot of experiences in the past. I've had one Japanese girl whose room looked like its been burgled and another who used to follow me around everywhere!!! and of course the "psycho" who locked herself in the room daily and never came out until midnight and rings me up on my mobile at 5:00am crying!!

I think I need the advice!!

OMG. That's some funny stuff. I thought about renting a room here and there. But I'm really fond of my privacy. I know if I did rent one of the two extra rooms I could make out a like a bandit, considering the area. However, your "experiences" reinforce not to rent.

I'm going to be moving in September into a nice condo in Miami. I actually found a roommate on this board. Some crazy cuban chick. Hope she doesn't go psycho on me. She's a sweetie though so I think it will work out fine. (I hope anyway)

After September, if you guys don't see me posting for days, someone please call 911.

Amen to that. If he does, I'm moving out. I don't romantically associate with my roomies. Just complicates things. But it will be hilarious to the neighbors to see to S2K's in the driveway........
