When I saw the first RSX commercial, I thought the sound of the engine was amazing, just like our S2000's. There was one sound in there that had the engine revving so high, it sounded higher than 9000 RPM. I just saw the second RSX commercial today (I think in the end had the words "who loves you baby"). The engine revving in this commercial was no where near as high revving as the original commercial. Was the original one faked in some way to make it sound like it revved higher than normal?

 

You must have a very highly-tuned set of ears there, dude.

 

Noooo! Please tell me it's not me! Hahaha! I swear the engine revved really, really high in the original.

 

The car really sounds like that! I think it's the different intake arrangement that contributes to that "whooshing" sound.
