holy !@(*@#$(*&#$! that POS DMCA is junk!
Did you know that it was passed by a silent vote? Did you know, it contradicts the first admendment in so many ways? Right now, movie producers, artists, and even the recording industry is using the DMCA against us. This is no longer a free country if this continues. The damages are overwhelming from what that POS has done.
/rant.
(btw, yes, I feel I'm cranky today)

Why are you upset about photopoint's registration for the safe harbor? Do you expect photopoint to share responsibility for the content of your photos?
The portion of the DMCA referred to above is a safe harbor provision for internet service providers. It has nothing to do with the anti-circumvention/anti-trafficking portions that preclude fair use rights. People are up in arms about the anti-circumvention/anti-trafficking part of DMCA, but I can't imagine why the safe harbor is offensive.

Understand that part - its just everytime the DMCA is mentioned it really rubs me the wrong way. At first, the initial intentions of the DMCA were in good faith, but I believe if you give anything into the wrong hands it will be perverted like it has been lately.
Like I said, I'm just ranting and rambling. I really need sleep - and in my own bed would be nice. Getting tired of these hotel rooms. (no, not that! so dont get any weird ideas!)
