i dont really get all the rotoray stuff.. how does a 1.3L engine make 250?!

and if that really is the case.. y doesnt other companys do such things?

dude, do a Google search. that is a much more complicated question than can be easily satisfied with just some words in this forum. you'll need some diagrams and a bit of history if you really want an answer to your questions.

that said-- I'm not just being flippant-- you will learn some really cool stuff about the Wankel motor design. Google "Wankel rotary" or other keywords if you really want to understand the pros and cons.

Just curious, but is this the same sort of engine used in prop planes? I took an aviation science class and remember that the engines where in some sort of circular pattern causing the upper part of the engine to sometimes have problems because they didn't get enough oil or something. Anyone know?

rotary engines are cool as long as they are in perfect tune. people with badly tuned rotaries tend to get new ones.
