Anybody else notice the silverstone S2000 in Buffy the Vampire Slayer tonight? It was about 11 minutes in and is only on the screen for a second.

Well, I have TiVo so it makes it easy to cheat.

One thing I've noticed about people who talk bad about Buffy is that they've never really watched it. They just hear the name of the show and assume it's stupid. It's their loss.

 

Missed the s2k. Also miss the old Buffy, who seemed a lot more on the ball and focused than this year's characterization. Also don't think much of those 3 dweebs who are the current arch-villians (yeah, right!).

Next week's show looks more like the old-style buffy, though.

I am absolutely addicted to Buffy. My wife-to-be razzes the crap out of me for it.

I started this year with a particularly nasty case of Strep throat that morphed into a sinus infection that ended up being a head cold. Not a fun way to spend roughly three weeks. So, doped up on antibiotics, cold medicine, decongestants, etc., me and my big Hawaiian bootie spent the better part of the month of January on the couch trying to get better.

As you all know, there isn't crap on TV. Somehow, week one of my down time, I found Buffy on FX. Two hours, back to back for five days a week. That's all it took, I am hooked.

I've watched the new Buff a couple of times, and have to admit that I'm not sure I'm as impressed as I am with the old stuff.

Call me a geek, fine by me. I just love the show!

 

Wierd. My girlfriend loves Buffy, but I hate it. I think it's because we're eight years apart, and she's 20. It sounds like more guys like it than girls. Can that be true?

I agree that this season isn't quite up to the standards of years past... For one thing I could do without the constant Buffy/SPike sex - it was much more entertaining when Spike was acting all lovesick & puppy dog like. I gotta disagree though - IMHO the SuperGeeks are hella cool! Very funny, and funny evil is always more entertaining than malicious evil

 

I loved Glory last year. She was the perfect villain. I was almost sad to see her go last year.

I agree, that this season isn't quite up to the high standards established by the previous seasons, but it's still better than most of the crap on TV every week.
