I finally got the thing from UPS last weekend (they lost it for 3 friggin weeks!!!) and got it in the car. It works great and gives me a smile every time I hit it. The light even works! And it sure looks better than the other big red buttons I've seen.

Thanks for the help with the pinouts and everything!!!

Looks great.. What did it end up costing? In both time and money.

Looks great, but is it a problem being on the right side?

The cost was $30 for the button from HandA-accessories.com (or something like that) vs $47 list price. And then I needed a SPDT relay for about $1.50 and a couple bucks worth of 12 gauge crimp connectors. Pretty cheap! And yes, it works. I wired it up so that the button replaces the last twist of the key. Put key in, turn to ON, hand goes to button. I was actually wondering if it's a problem for y'all with it being on the left like that. The install took me a couple hours, but I was being really anal with the wiring. Plus grinding out the lighter hole to fit the button took about 30 minutes of that time. I also relocated my lighter to inside my center console.

And the light even works too! I wired it to the handbrake so it goes off when the handbrake goes down.
