S2000 vs Other
Ps. The one above handles just about the same way as the S2000 --- but that's in my hands.
Yes, Yes, I know it's a little down on torque, but I can still get some throttle oversteer out of it.

Yes, I was born a Brit and still live in the Commonwealth. I appreciate and respect your knowledge regarding the Cobra background - it was good to hear from someone who can fill in the details. Hope you're enjoying your S2k and hope you get to live your dream.
I love all of this Shelby talk.
I even named my son after him.
My own AC Cobra horror story is I had a chance to buy an original slabsided 64 with a 260V8 at the local MB dealership. It had 22k miles on it and they were asking 23K for the car. But I didn't want a small block Cobra.
Of course this was a few years ago.
A racing buddy of mine has a 65 GT350R still has the numbers on it from when he raced it in B/P.
He bought it new and the last time I saw it it was covered in about an inch of West Texas dust. The car is awesome.

Wanted a Boxster S but didn't want to spend that much for the car.

If I tell my son (he just turned 16) about this car, he'll want to go down there to talk this guy out of the car --- He's fallen in love with the 350GT's and badly wants one. As I tell him, he has the same problem I and many men have --- a Champaign taste with a Beer pocketbook!
My friend had to keep his garage door closed because some guy saw the GT350R in the garage and would not leave because he was wanting to buy it. My friend kept saying "It's not for sale". The guy would not take NO for an answer. So he finally threatend to call the cops.
Believe me the car is not for sale.

For sure, I knew I wanted a convertible car this time around because I promised myself three years ago that my next car would be a convertible since I never had a convertible car. However, I didn't decide on which car I will get until last year when I first saw the S2000 on TV, and that was it. Love at first sight, I never had a second thought.
