Is it just me or is this site being swarmed with smart asses and A-holes? I've been reading forums on s2k for a very long time, but nowadays I just notice ppl always inputting their rude remarks and smart ass comments on the threads.

Am i just going crazy? if you make a smart ass comment, I'll seriously hurt you. j/p

but seriously, i think the s2k community has been evolving into a younger and younger demographic, and thus the less "mature" attitude. years back, s2k owners consisted mainly of the older and wealthier individuals who can afford a $32K+ car, but now since the used s2k values have dropped to around $20K, more and more younger folks are able to afford them and thus the evolution into a younger demographic.

Yup, I can't stand it. I miss the 'good old days'. I didn't visit the board for about 1.5 years and when I came back I felt like it had been invaded by 14 year olds.

 

hey i got used, but i consider myself relatively wealthy. I just don't like losing money in depreciation from new cars.

but, yes, the maturity level has been going down. It's still no clubsi or hondatech, though. phew.

Like what Steven said, it's all relative.. Go visit ClubSI or some other forum and you'll think that this place is a safe haven from all that. For the most part, 95% of posts are either well thought out or at least don't hurt anyone or start conflict with remarks.. so it's a decent ratio.. also depends where you post too..

 

Yep, it's true that the "younger crowd" is here. IMO they post some of the funniest stuff, remember that kid who was always posting about how wanted to feel up his cousin....comedy (dysfunctional comedy, but still comedy!).
