What other car do you drive ?

Having seen GTRsi's non-owners thread it made me wonder what cars S2000 owners had chosen in addition as their "beater" cars or daily-drivers. Apologies if this has been done before.

I have a 6 year old Ford Fiesta LX 1.8 Diesel which I accepted as a trade-in from the guy who bought my CRX. It looked dreadful at the time so I only knocked a little off the price of the CRX for him.
However, after a few hours cleaning, polising and a very little rust removal it looks great and runs really well !

Damn - messed up on the title - how do I change it ?
(It was meant to be "S2K Owners with other cars - what's your daily driver ?")

Our daily driver is the fiance's 2002 Lexus IS300. We're lucky enough to work about 1/2 a mile away from one another so we carpool.

The S is our weekend/date car except for Fridays (business casual days) during the warmer months.

From my sig... 1999 Honda Accord EXVL, and 1997 Lexus LX450. But I'm thinking about trading those in. I'm waiting to see what the new Lexus GS is like, as well as GX470.

My daily driver is the 2001 Spa Yellow, I guess you could say the 'beater' is the 2000 Silverstone Metallic......but don't let my wife hear me say her car is the 'beater'

Dan,

Did Honda keep making the CRX for your market until 97? Was it the same car that we had here in the States only until 91?

We have a Chevy Blazer and a 91 CRXsi as well as the 00 S2000.

Hey Dan, my "beater" (never heard that word until I moved to Chicago, well, at least in this context) ... is a 1992 Toyota 4Runner, which may be called a HiLux Surf in England, as that is their name in Japan. It's in good shape with only 96k miles and it's basically the race car support vehicle. I haul race tires, people's hoods and bring stuff back from King Motorsports for people who has King replace stuff on their cars. It fits the bill beautifully.

Oh, the 4WD thing is pretty much a requirement in the crazy winters here in Chicago. I think the S2000/4Runner combination is a perfect one...I love my truck, I call it the War Wagon.

Is it called a 4Runner in the UK?
