For Sale and Group Buys rant
Everyone, Things will be happening soon so that everything will work much smoother. There will be more stringent rules to abide by, and you all will enjoy it much more. Just be patient if you can. Thanks!

Ok mingster, I'll buy more. I never really ask for THAT much do I?
but seriously, those of us who are willing to pay for good service are those of us who understand the value of service. Everytime i've bought stuff from you, you have been available to answer questions and ALWAYS reply to my emails! I know there are times that price is too big a difference to ignore, but believe me, the ability to reach someone and ask about why a shipment did not make it, or get updates on products being drop shipped, or getting details on installation? Thats worth a few bucks extra at least. And you know what? You usually come in LESS than most reliable sources!
As for th original rant? I agree that it would be nice for Group Buys and For Sale items to be split somehow, but I am sure they are working on that.

Trust and comfort is more important to me. After, being on the board awhile you kind of get a feel for how the sponsors are, and how they treat their customers. I rather buy from a sponsor, cuz the price is fair and they aren't trying to cheat you. If you go to a local shop, a lot of times they have these kids running the store. You don't know them that well, so it's kind of hard to trust or believe what they say at times.
Let me give you a couple of recent examples from my own experience to illustrate why you should buy from s2ki sponsors whenever you can.
I expressed interest in a product offered by one sponsor and another s2ki sponsor pointed me to another source on the web that had the same product for $5 less. I thanked him for the tip and said the difference was only $5, so I'd rather support our sponsor. (That made him happy, too.)
I couldn't get in touch with a sponsor by conventional means, so I PM'd a representative. Within the hour the item I wanted was on its way to me via priority mail with no shipping charge, even though I hadn't asked for expedited processing.
So, to rephrase what Mingster said, when you buy from our sponsors, you get more than you pay for even if you pay a little more for the product.

The cheapest is not always the best either. I am inclined to buy from the manufacturer of a product or company agent or board sponsor wherever possible.
The distributors that managed my group buys did a fantastic job but the problems experienced by a couple and the consequent frustration suffered by buyers persuaded me that there is really no need for middlemen in the age of e-commerce systems. A $5 or $10 difference in prices means nought to me when I'm buying something. Good service combined with a quality product is hard to find these days. Give me those 2 things and I will be a loyal customer to that company. And dare I say it... I have to actually like the person I'm buying off.
