Default sandpapers questions....

My headlights are pitted. Mirco-rock-chip, very small. I was wondering is it possible to sand it out? or is there any other way I can make it smoother..

most likely no. sanding is for smoothing. even with 20000 grit. It will be smooth, but it will not be clear.

nope, as yellow2001 said, you can get it smooth, but not clear.
some plastics you can make it clear by "flame polish" after sanding it,
but the kind of plastic that is used for headlight housing, is not the kind that you want to flame polish.
