Default Sato to partner Button at BAR in 2004

Formula1.com Article

Villeneuve is no longer driving with BAR. Takuma Sato, the teams third/test driver just got a raise.

It's about time...Jacques is a disgrace to driving! (not that his car was very reliable)
It's sad that with Montreal gone (maybe), and Jacques leaving (probably)...Canada no longer has any ties to F1.

Oh well, we'll see you in the Winston Cup next year Jacques

He may not have a ride anywhere (JV) especially if Pollack and CART do not survive.

I actually kind of wished to see him do better in future seasons, even though I'm not really a Villeneuve fan. But I guess this is bound to happen. BAR can't really afford to have two drivers that do not get along...

I hope BAR starts kicking ass next season (I was very excited to see Button lead briefly in Indianapolis, before Michael Schumacher overtook him, and well... you know the rest).

Sato was very good in his 2nd season of Brit F3, then again so was Anthony Davidson and Carlin are the no1 F3 squad.
Let's hope for BAR's sake he's learned not to crash so much in his year away from Jordan.
Jacques a big name, so he'll end up somewhere if he wants to....

So is Sato racing at Suzuka? I should know this but have been too busy to check.

If Honda can't get their engines to quit blowing up it won't matter who drives for BAR. I am always rooting for BAR but their damn engines keep grenading.
