Better to be honest than to sit and hold a sign lying about being homeless or something.
We have TONS of kids around here who sit and hold signs about being cold/homeless/starving and I've seen a few of them get dumped off downtown by nice Volvos and such.

They arent homeless, they're just pathetic and their parents dont feel like dealing with them.

Annoying as hell, but I have had no qualms about getting in their face if they try and ask for money. They don't ask me anymore

Almost as bad as the parents that just buy the game and ignore the age ratings, or teach any kind of value on a dollar.

I'd tell him to go mow some ****** lawns or something.. how I (and a lot of us here probably) earned money when I was a kid.
