Default scary fungus in Oregon

http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/201004...xpectedtospread

cliff notes: Fungal disease, so far killed 5 of 21 known patients... lives on/in trees (?) and can infect many animals as well as humans.

hopefully this is just media sensationalism and it won't actually be a big deal.

Eek. Thought this was a joke about hippies but that's pretty freaky. A fatal, mutating fungus.

Media sensationalism, as Officer Barbrady would say "Move along, nothing to see here people, nothing at all."

I like how they try the scare tactics "It kills X/X people!!!!" but wont tell you where it's been found or places to avoid.

Somehow, I'm not that worried about it

Yay, we're all gonna die. H1N1, Bird flu, ebola, hanta, mersa, etc. So many threats out there, it's just another to add to the list.
