Default SCCA Members?

I'm wanting to become a member of the SCCA and sent off for the membership application that comes with the S2000. On Septemer 22 and 23 there is a SCCA Solo II in my area. If I am a member by then I want to attend the Solo II. I've been reading the site but can't find much information on what I would need when I attend Solo II.

What sort of things should be brought to a Solo II contest? Are helmets required?

Just go to the event even if you haven't gotten your card yet. Chances are very good that you don't have to be a member to run.

You do need a helmet but they should have loaners available.

I'll be sending you a PM in just a little while, let me know what you think.

Go to the SCCA web site, www.scca.org, look up your local region, see who heads up the solo events, and call or email him.

He should be able to give you details on when/where you need to show up and wether they have loaner helmets available.

Usually non-members can also attend SCCA autoX events. In our region, they get charged a few dollars more.
